I’m trying to think “Spring”….with the flowers and the “Spring” cardstock!
The layer on the front of this card is one of the Embossed Metallic Constellation Jade cardstocks – Spring. It is a one-sided cardstock, so the pattern is only on one side. In this sheet the pattern is a smaller swirly pattern, slightly embossed into the shimmery sheet.
I embossed this using an embossing folder from Sizzix, then used a q-tip and chalks to add just a slight amount of color to the flowers. The Nestabilities shape with the words, was also die cut using a swatch of Spring and then stamped with a Timber Brown Staz-On Ink Pad. Before stamping, I applied chalk to it, so it wasn’t stark white.
This is layered on Echo Stardream Metallic and then on a Cognac Curious Metallic Scored A-2 Card.
I’ve had enough of this CRAZY winter, so everyone….please…think “SPRING”!
I love how the shimmery card stock brought some of it shimmering to the the chalked embossed piece. Thanks for sharing.
