Sparkly Holiday Season!

BIBOK-WCGG

Mirricard makes all cards “sparkly”!

The tree is a die from Impression Obsession. I die cut it twice – once with Ice Silver cardstock, and then a second time with Red Mirricard. When I did the Red Mirricard, my “sandwich” for my Big Shot wasn’t quite as tight and all the pieces didn’t fall out, so I was able to attach the Red Mirricard tree behind the Ice Silver Tree…making the tree “sparkle”!

The card base is our Pre-die cut Bib Card and Bib Overlay-they are available as separate pieces or as a Bib Overlay kit, which includes the A-2 envelopes. I embossed the Bib Overlay to give it alittle texture. Before the die cut tree is mounted on the front with foam mounting tape, I layered a strip of Ice Silver and then tied ribbon around the overlay.
The word stamp was stamped using a matching Wild Cherry Ink Pad on Ice Silver and then die cut with our Triple Circle Layering Die Set. Little Red Pearls finish off this card.

Friendly faces

Over the years of doing shows, we have met some incredible people!
We have developed friendships at all of the shows across the country also, but here its alittle different,
as we have been doing this show for over 10 years….wow!!!! and we see many of you at our Warehouse Sale in Sept.

This being the last show of the year ….secretly I’m doing a happy dance … but I’m having a great time at the show.
We are in Madison, WI www.stampscrapmadison.com
which for us is just a hop, skip and a jump away from home.
Its so nice to be able to finish the show and be able to go home and sleep in our own bed.

But besides that, we see soooo many familiar faces, of which….
I don’t always remember which names go with which faces….sorry!!
and the there are those that try to confuse me (easily done!) that we see in different states!
or those that get married or change last names, so I really get confused…you know who you are…lol!!!

One familiar face…Nancy Garms gave me this cute sample this weekend.
BIBOK-JG06

This Thanksgiving card uses our Bib Overlay Kit.
Jellybean Green Bib Card with Cream Bib Overlay.
Orange Fizz frames the word swatch and the scallop circle looks like our
old Tuscan Sun, which is sadly discontinued, but Basis Dark Orange is a good replacement.

I was asked this a lot this weekend – what is the size that layers on the top of the Bib Card –
above the scallop Circle is 1.75″ punch and the circle is approx. 1.25″ – 1.5″ circle punch (I use either depending on the size of the image).

I’m not sure about the stamps…sorry, I forgot to ask

Nancy, Thank you for the sample!
