This Semi Funky Fold Accordion has a unique fold that is easy to make with our pre-cut and scored cards!  The 2 slits down the middle of the card, along with scores add dimension and create a very fun and unique fold, while still giving you a full inside panel on the inside of the card to write your message on!

I used stamps, dies and pattern paper from Dare 2B Artzy, which was super fun because their dies match both the clear stamp set AND the pattern paper!  So, I didn’t even have to color or decorate the die cut leaves – I just cut them out of the coordinating pattern paper!

This Twist ‘n Pop Kit is a fun interactive card.  The 5 ct kit includes the Steno Card (Wild Cherry is used on this sample), White (or Cream Twist N Pop Insert) and Four Panel Mini Accordian Card to match the Steno Card.  The Twist n Pop Insert is specially scored and die cut so it folds to fit inside the card, with tabs to attach the Mini Accoridian card.  When the card is opened, the Mini Accordian Twist around and opens to reveal four decorated panels!

This cute sample was made using a Penguin Set from Dare 2B Artzy, along with pattern paper to coordinate.

New Oval Z Fold Card

Our new Oval Z Fold Card is available pre-cut or we have the Card Making Die to cut your own. We also have 2 new Stitched Oval Layering Die Sets (#1 and #2). These Sets not not only coordinate with the cards, but also coordinate with each other!

This card is perfect Birthday Card for the guy or gal who likes motorcycles… or maybe has one!

I used stamps from Endless Creations and a Darice Embossing Folder.

The Orange Fizz Card comes in a multi-color variety set of cards.

Yupo and Alcohol Ink

How did I get such an amazing sunset???

Yupo cardstock and Alcohol Inks.

Yupo is a synthetic paper, which is actually waterproof and Inks dont soak in. Which makes it a great medium for Alcohol Inks. The inks move freely over the surface, especially if you add Alcohol Ink Blending Solution.

On this sample, I put drops of Alcohol Ink directly in the Yupo, along with some drops of Blending Solution. Using a brush, I made big horizontal strokes across the Yupo to blend and spread the Inks. While it was still wet, I dropped one bigger drop of Blending Solution right in the middle. Because of the properties of the Yupo, the Blending Solution drop reacted with the ink on the paper and moved to give an amazing sunset. I didn’t do anything to create the border around the sun… it just happened from the Blending Solution moving the Alcohol Ink. Pretty cool!!

New A2 Horizontal Step Card

This new card is available as both a pre-cut card and as a die, so you can cut your own.

I love the pre-cut ones because then I can get right to stamping and creating. I don’t know about you, but for me, some days are better than others…. it could take me all day to make one card OR the creative juices are flowing and I can make a bunch of cards in one sitting. But starting out with the pre-cut ones, lets me get right to it.

This card base is the Cream A-2 Horizontal Step Card. It is similar to our A2 Center Step card, but is horizontal versus vertical, so 5.5 inches wide by 4.25 inches tall.

I like both, it just depends on the stamp(s) that I am using.

Twist ‘n Pop Card Kit

  • White Graduation Cap Card Layers – fit perfectly on the Insert. This way you can Stamp in the inside and have the correct angles for the folds on you inside layers.
  • Squares Layering Die Set (PCDIE021). Scallop and rounded corner layers that fit perfectly on the Mini Accordian.
  • Rick Rack Trim Die Set – used on the card front.
  • Stitched Oval Dies (PCDIE079 and PCDIE101)
  • Cocktail Metallic Cardstock

New Semi-Funky Fold Accordian Card

This is one of our new pre-die cut cards. It’s similar to our original Funky Fold Accordian, but only the front is “funky” , leaving the inside of the card for writing a message on.

These are not available online yet, but am hoping to get them posted soon.

Surprise Gift!!

Open this card and a gift “pops” out at you!!

The inside of this card was made using our Simple Pop-Out Die Set. This set contains 3 Dies that can be used individually to make a “pop-out” on the inside of the card. On a simple pop-out, you can attach an object to coordinate with the outside of your card. For example on a birthday card, you could attach a cupcake to the pop-out so it pops outs and gives dimension to the inside of your card. The various size Dies allows you to pop your object out at various depths.

Use all 3 Dies to create the stacked gift. I️ ran each Die they separately so I️ could place them close together … there is approximately 3/8th inch in between each gift section. I️ will be doing a video tutorial and will post the link here when I’m done.

Basically, you have a Scored Card (I used an A-2 Card) for you card base or the front of the card. Then you use a second Scored Card and trim it slightly smaller than your card base (if desired), enabling you to see a slight border of your card base color. On my sample, I️ started with a Wild Cherry Scored Card and used a White Scored Card for the inside….stamped with the Impression Obsession Ticking Stamp using a Lime Pastel Ink Pad.

On each Die, there are “notches” in the center … line up those notches with the score of the White card. Hold in place with a piece of removable tape (or washi tape, or a post it) and run thru your die cutting machine. Start with the biggest die approximately 3/8 inch from the bottom, running each Die separately. Then run the next size Die, placing it about an 1/8 inch above the first one, etc.

Carefully fold, so the “pop-outs” are to the inside of the card … Valley, mountain, valley Fold. Do this individually for each section.

Attach to the inside of the card base,making sure not to put tape on the sections that are popped out. Use patterned, sparkly or coordinating paper to decorate the gift sections
